ROCK AND SNOW ANNEX

This 2,000 sf retail space is located in downtown New Paltz NY, and the building is meant to fit in as much as possible with the existing built landscape of the village. The design was influenced by the traditional Dutch architecture of the area,  inspired by the look of old firehouses, and sized and proportioned to match another building owned by the same business just down the block. Red split faced concrete block is a contemporary take on the extensive use of brick in the village, and bright red aluminum windows add another modern touch. Inside, exposed steel trusses and corrugated metal ceiling give an industrial feel.
